Wing Chun Kung-Fu Chinese Art of Self-Defense - Volume #1&2
By James Yimm Lee Ohara Publications, 1975 owned by Richard
and signed to him by Professor Gary Dill. In December 1972, just a few
days before he died, James gave Dill a two year JKD training outline
along with a dozen of the "JKD student handbook", so that Dill could
pass on his knowledge of JKD to his friends and selected students.
James Lee studied Sil Lum and Wing Chun before training
with Bruce Lee in Jeet Kune Do.

This a 22 page manuscript, owned by Richard,
was given to him by Paul Bax. It came directly
from Doug Palmer, one of Bruce Lee’s original
students and was originally given to Paul Bax
via their interview together in the mid-90's.
After Paul Bax interviewed Mr. Palmer for
Inside Karate magazine, Palmer sent Bax this
exclusive 22 page document that detailed
Palmer's trip to Hong Kong in 1972. One aspect
that sets Palmer apart from any other student
is the fact Doug actually spent a summer with
Bruce in Hong Kong. In this interview, Palmer
recalls his experiences with Bruce in the U.S.
and in Hong Kong during the sixties, and his
last meeting with him before Lee's death in 1973.
The document is hand edited by Mr. Palmer and has
his printed name and is dated, 3/88
(apparently when Mr. Palmer first made the corrections) |
